A Quick Flowery Card for Today

Hi,

Thank you for visiting! I've made a quick card before heading off to Sydney for the weekend to escape Canberra's cold winter.

The photo was taken on my youngest son's birthday, the 1st of August, at minus 3.5 degrees by Sujay's Photography.

I hope you are enjoying beautiful weather, wherever you are!

Today's Card:

I've used Perennial Essence paper and Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon as a base for this card.

The flowers were made using the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape - the tape comes as individual petals ready for you to peel off and create your flowers and looks great as 4-6 petal flowers. I've used clear Faceted Gems as the flower centres, but you could use the Perennial Essence Floral Centres instead.

I've used the coordinating Soft Suede Washi Tape to create a border inside the card (see below).

The sentiment is from the Magnolia Blooms Stamp set and is stamped using Blackberry Bliss on Balmy Blue cardstock. I've used the larger circle die from Stitched Labels to create a pretty sentiment border. The sentiment is attached using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I hope you are able to find time to enjoy some crafting or spend time with those you love.

Talk soon,

Kristina x
